The Atom viewer can display the structures of all the metals available in Crocodile Chemistry, as well as any other compounds which have BCC (body-centred cubic), HCP (hexagonal close-packed) or FCC (face-centred cubic) structures:
The number of balls (representing molecules) shown in the Atom viewer is proportional to the concentration of the solution (1 ball for every 0.1M). This means that at a low concentration there may only be one or two molecules visible in a solution.
The Atom viewer displays all liquids available in Crocodile Chemistry. No animations are available for mixtures of solids and liquids.
An Atom viewer can display boiling, condensing and melting phase changes in water. Sublimation and freezing are not available.
